ConnectYard - social web, mobile and LMS

Class discussions via Facebook, Twitter, mobile, text, e-mail into a conversation thread in the LMS.  Works with Blackboard, Moodle, Sakai, etc. 

Mobile (and laptop) participation in class at Purdue - Hotseat

Uses its own Twitter-like interface, Twitter, or Facebook to permit students to ask questions or join discussions in and out of class.  Videos are an official promo, student reactions, and a local news report, complete with local insurance agency ad.  Of 600 students in two courses, they have a 75-80% adoption rate.

BB back up & running

Maria from Sprint called me back this morning, got my number restored. A restart and profile update, and I'm back in business, all setting and previous downloads intact.
